Myfitbrain was founded on the proposition that brain training games should be available at no cost to as many people as possible worldwide. Everyone should have the ability to keep their brain sharp as they age regardless of their income or where they live. Our focus is on bringing you a robust mental gaming environment that maximizes your ability to create new neurons and keep your brain as sharp as possible. To offer this free, myfitbrain incorporates advertising into the games themselves so you are not distracted by obnoxious advertising. We receive revenue from advertisers to support development of new games and the infrastructure required to support our fast growing base. What initially took us down the path to develop myfitbrain was personal interactions with people we know who have Alzheimer. After doing research of published scientific literature, it became obvious that exercising your brain can have significant benefits. We discovered that once you have advanced Alzheimer Disease, you have limited options and playing games will be of limited value. Research has shown that playing novel brain training exercises can help to build your cognitive reserve. By improving your cognitive reserve throughout your life, you can minimize the natural effects of brain aging. The myfitbrain system encourages a person to pursue a curriculum of different types of mental fitness exercises which increase in difficulty. They are designed to promote new neural cell growth and build your cognitive reserve.
